1978 Frederick Valentich case

Awesome Giant UFO Near Earth (March 2014) [video] - Art'einsky

You mind tells you that this is impossible, but it is possible. Such UFOs have been recorded before on radar and yes, on similar scales. Just click here to see a past sighting. ADGUK News states: Ok, this image was released by the Brasilia Planetarium recently and seems to show a massive disc shaped object stationed above the Earth. The disc is estimated to be around 3-5 thousand miles in diameter. If
you look at the  bottom left of the image you can see a cloud formation passing over the top of the anomaly, this indicates that the object is not a projection onto the earth. I have no idea what this object is, i can only speculate at this point. Does Earth Herself Create UFOs, Ghosts, and Fairies?

By Kevin Bingham: Are we standing on a gigantic alien? Did this enormous, living, breathing alien create us? Do we live and die on her back? Of course, Mother Earth is not an alien, she is the least-alien of all of us. She is Earth! We humans give lip service to the fact that Earth is a living planet, but then we do not dig into the astounding implications. We do not take time from our busy schedules to truly perceive that if she is a living mind, she must have a dream-state just as we do. She must have a subconscious. Our ancestors understood that Earth has a dynamic mind and spirit which must be recognized; they possessed beliefs such as Earth being a large terrapin on whose back we sit. They worshipped her; perhaps they were wise. New agers embrace nature spirits and most use the word “Gaia” to describe Earth’sliving consciousness. However, even many new agers get caught up in the fun of crystals, gemstones, fairies and such, but do not recognize the fact that Gaia herself might be the creator of UFOs and their occupants as well as the creator of fairies, nature spirits, and even the creator of paranormal events like ghosts. Most new agers (and most of us), look to space or time as the source of UFOs, and

to the human subconscious as somehow mixed up in creating fairies and paranormal events. However, what if Mother Earth dreams? Why do we not think of this? Is it because we don’t take time to perceive that she truly is a living consciousness? In depth knowing (as in “gnosis”), that Earth is a living creature begins strangely enough, with insight into alien intelligence. We try to imagine the intellect, intelligence, and enlightenment of various aliens: Are they logical like Mr. Spock? Are they vicious with no moral compass like the creature in Alien? Are they Time Lords like Dr. Who, very civilized, somewhat confused, and near-masters of time, all-time, and no-time? Ask yourself then: What is the intelligence, intellect, and enlightenment of this huge creature called Earth? Oh, you say she is not that kind of creature. She does not truly feel, she does not truly think. She is a rock with soil in some places, H2O in other places, and far too many humans for her own good. No doubt you call her “it.” But you agree that life in outer space will come in different forms; you wonder if silicon might be a building block for life instead of carbon. Yet you deny this wondrous planet who gave us all life and also created billions of varied, livingspecies – is truly an entity? Where did our intelligence come from? Where did the intelligence of the Barn Swallow and the Redwood Tree—come from? If you are Christian or another religion, you might feel that God or your deity createdlife. If I have a deity, it is Earth, and I can prove she created life here, because here we are.

How often do you hear that God saved the day while Mother Nature sent that tornado? Maybe Mother Nature saved the day and God sent the tornado. My point is, we are brought up to be prejudiced toward our planet. She is a witch who brings tornadoes if she is alive at all. There is a bias against the female god, thus a bias against the female planet. So as we humans emerge from the brainwashed state imposed on us by religions, let us comprehend what our planet really is, and who she really is. She is a being who dreams. She is a being who has a subconscious state. Her conscious state has created the wondrous order of the rainforest, with predator, prey, adaptation, and survival brilliance. Her conscious state has created the mighty ocean with its exquisite ecosystems. Her conscious state is not quite like yours; she is an alien in that she is not human. She created humans but she is something and someone much different. Where is her brain, you ask? It is everywhere, from the mass minds of swallows to the long memory of elephants. It is not encapsulated in one little skull like your brain. Her intelligence is everywhere, right outside your window and in Yosemite and in the Sahara. Perhaps to meet aliens, we need to first be able to perceive the consciousness of our own planet. And what about Earth’s subconscious state? Does she dream? I assume that every conscious mind has a subconscious level.

Every spirit rests and sleeps. Does she dream of humans who are shadowy ghost-beings, perhaps from the 1800s, a century which of course included her, the Earth. Does she dream of Yetis and Bigfoot creatures? Perhaps she has a suppressed wish that she had created them too? Are her memories of other man/ape combinationswhich Homo sapiens eventually exterminated? Sometimes ghosts are in a location and other times they cannot be found. Yetis are seen but then are not anywhere. Perhaps they are only there when her subconscious is active. Earth must enjoy dreaming of fairies, sprites and trolls. Why not conger them up and dream they are frightening a few humans! Place a sprite on the beautiful waterfall, how lovely! And what of UFO occupants? Well, Earth mostly likes the humanoid design and, like us when we dream, she mostly dreams of humanoids. Once in a while she manifests a reptile. But what of the aliens’ ships? Earth has a knowingness about what humans havecreated, airplanes and such. Earth has a sense of “the future” and perhaps she tries to show the humans, her creations, that the future is real. She dreams of a future reality for all her creations. In fact, the entire complex system of evolution was set up by Earth. It may exist on other planets but we know it exists on Earth. Where did it come from? God? Science? (“it just happens over time”), or – the mind of Earth? Why do we sell her so short?

And of course she would dream of critters in the sky like flying manta ray UFOs andbeautiful translucent orbs. I am “selling” this idea as a total answer but as I have said before, I do feel that UFO occupants also come from far distant planets, from time itself, from otherdimensions, all of the above and then some. However, I am also convinced that the dream-state of our Mother Planet is something which we have not begun to even try to comprehend. Carl Jung touched on it, as have others, and the concept of a morphic field of consciousness can be applied to Earth as well as to humans. Link1, Link2 Her consciousness and subconscious are most likely resonating in her electromagnetic field. The EM field in our brain is said to be instrumental in our intelligence. So why do we not consider that Earth’s mighty EM field, the Aurora Borealis and so much more, that magnificent EM field which our planet maintains, also contains her intelligence? Her EM field crackles and fluctuates, what is encoded in this energy? What consciousness dwells there? Yes, it is different from ours. For one thing, it is so much greater than ours! However different, we still reflect her. She is our mother, the creator of our life. How could she do this without being a living creature herself? Finally, I don’t intend to worry about getting abducted this summer; I will not cower as I worry about UFOs and aliens in the warm, soft summer night which Gaia will have given to me. I will not expect the worst of aliens to show up, rather I expect the best of aliens to come out there under the stars. Perhaps we can all celebrate Planet Earth’s living energy and beauty. Alien space probes visited Earth many times

Arwen Nicholson and DuncanForgan of the University of Edinburgh (UK) used computer simulations to prove that if representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations were able to travel from one planet to another, they would fly across our entire galaxy in a relatively short period of time and visit our planet. Voyager 1 spacecraft was able to move away from the Earth at a distance of less than one light day in 36 years of its mission. So far, according to scientists, it has not left the solar system. However, according to Nicholson and Forgan, it takes an alien spaceship only ten million years to explore the whole Milky Way. The ship would need to travel at the speed of one-tenth the speed of light, if accelerated due to the gravitational field of stars. During the 1960s, a theory appeared about "smart" space probes capable of replicating themselves. American astronomer Ronald Bracewell believed that mankind should do its best to invent such probes, rather than catch radio signals of artificial origin, as suggested by SETI program. In 1949, John von Neumann developed a mathematical model of the device that was cloning itself. According to current calculations made by Nicholson and Forgan, there are three possible scenarios for such probes to operate. This includes flying with running engines, the use of gravitational acceleration and, finally, "jumping" from star to star. Even the Voyager is capable of "bouncing" from gravitational fields of the solar system. Thus, green aliens are unlikely to be found on Earth, the scientists believe. If aliens ever visited our planet, it was robotic vehicles, rather than living creatures. Famous science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke gives a description of such visits in his novel "Rendezvous with Rama." In the book, a group of terrestrial astronauts gets inside a giant cylinder stuffed with electronic equipment, approaching the Sun. Nicholson and Forgan believe that alien probes are able to run their own course. They scan the planets of star systems, searching for signs of life there, and create their own copies, which, in turn, search for new stars. To crown it all, it is quite possible that such probes are created by several highly-developed extraterrestrial civilizations. It is also possible that some clone ships may attack other ships as a result of technical failures and destroy them. In any case, such stories can be found in science fiction literature. One can also assume that such ships communicate with each other to carry out their tasks more efficiently - not to explore one and the same object repeatedly, for instance. However, we should not delude ourselves about the contacts of alien robots with earthlings. It is possible that alien probes are equipped with special systems to determine the level of intelligence of the living creatures within range of their activities. Aliens are not interested in establishing communication with intelligent beings. The purpose of robotic devices is the collection of information about the planets, not making contact. Moreover, in all probability, alien space vehicles are programmed to attract as little attention as possible. There is no reliable information, for the time being, to prove that UFOs, or flying saucers, are vessels from other civilizations. NASA Received An SOS Call From Another Galaxy

The terms alien abduction or abduction phenomenon describe "subjectively real memories of being taken secretly against one's will by apparently nonhuman entities and subjected to complex physical and psychological procedures". People claiming to have been abducted are usually called "abductees" or "experiencers". Due to a paucity of objective physical evidence, most scientists and mental health professionals dismiss the phenomenon as "deception, suggestibility (fantasy-proneness, hypnotizability, false memory syndrome), personality, sleep paralysis, psychopathology, psychodynamics [and] environmental factors". However, the late Prof. John Edward Mack, a respected Harvard University psychiatrist, devoted a substantial amount of time to investigating such cases and eventually concluded that the only phenomenon in psychiatry that adequately explained the patients' symptoms in several of the most compelling cases was Posttraumatic stress disorder.[dubious -- discuss] As he noted at the time, this would imply that the patient genuinely believed that the remembered frightening incident had really occurred.[citation needed] Skeptic Robert Sheaffer sees similarity between the aliens depicted in early science fiction films, in particular, Invaders From Mars, and some of those reported to have actually abducted people. Typical claims involve being subjected to a forced medical examination that emphasizes their reproductive system. Robert Taylor UFO Close Encounter, Scotland 1979

"Robert Taylor, a forester from West Lothian, Scotland, encountered a strange object and equally strange smaller objects or "entities". The rounded larger object, 20 feet in diameter, hovered above the ground. Then, two small objects, which were round but had appendages, "rushed" toward him. These objects each attached itself to one (each) of his trouser legs and tugged him towards the larger object, at which time Taylor lost consciousness. Ground marks were discovered at the scene of the encounter." Taylor later regained consciousness and upon doing so discovered the object had disappeared. Taylor then discovered he had trouble attempting to speak and could not get to his feet. He then crawled 100 metres along the ground and managed to stagger the rest of the distance back to where he had parked his truck. On reaching the truck he attempted to call for help on the truck's two way radio, but struggled due to his loss of voice. Taylor then attempted to get back home in the truck, but accidentally ditched it in soft earth while trying to drive in his condition. Due to his vehicle being stuck, Taylor walked the rest of the way back home [citation needed]. Other sources state the truck did not start and Taylor had to walk home from its parked location.[citation needed] Taylor was always cited as being a man of good character, honest and reliable. He never asked for payment on reciting his version of events and up until his death at the age of 89 in 2007, still defended what he had seen on Dechmont Law. Today, a plaque (which was later stolen) and a small statuette are located in the clearing where Taylor stated he saw the object. Investigation and evidence: Upon reaching home at 11:30 a.m., Mary Taylor, Taylor's wife, expressed concern at his state. She assumed he had been attacked and called the police. Taylor intervened and requested she contact Malcolm Drummond, a supervisor at Livingston Development Corporation. While awaiting Drummond's arrival, Taylor complained of a headache and kept saying that he had been "gassed". Drummond and Taylor both attended the scene of the incident a short while later the same day and discovered strange indentations in the forest floor which Taylor stated had not been there earlier that morning. One set were described as looking like rungs in ladder, the other indentations which numbered forty in total were suspected to be the tracks left by the smaller objects. No scorch marks were seen on the forest floor. Staff of the Livingston Development Corporation later took photographs of the scene. Taylor was seen by a doctor who found only grazing to his chin and thighs. Due to his injuries the police recorded the matter as a common assault. Taylor's wife noticed tears in his trousers where Taylor claimed the small objects had attached themselves to him. The police later seized the trousers to be forensically examined. UFOs and Out-of-Body Experiences

By Nick Redfern: One of the most notable UFO encounters ever recorded occurred shortly after 11p.m. on October 18, 1973. That the prime witnesses were serving members of the U.S. Army Reserve only added to the credibility of the report. Having departed from Port Columbus, Ohio, their UH-1H helicopter was headed for its home base at Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Aboard were Captain Lawrence J. Coyne; Sergeant John Healey, the flight-medic; First Lieutenant Arrigo Jezzi, a chemical engineer; and a computer technician, Sergeant Robert Yanacsek. All seemed normal as the crew climbed into the air and

kept the helicopter at a steady 2,500 feet altitude. But approximately ten miles from Mansfield, they noticed a “single red light” to the west that was moving slowly in a southerly direction. Initially they thought the object might be an F-100 aircraft operating out of Mansfield. Nevertheless, Coyne advised Yanacsek to “keep an eye on it.” These were wise words, as suddenly the unidentified light changed its course and began to head directly for them. Captain Coyne immediately swung into action, putting the helicopter into an emergency descent, dropping 500 feet per minute. Equally alarming was the fact that radio contact with Mansfield Tower could no longer be established, and both UHF and VHF frequencies were utterly dead, too. When it seemed that a fatal collision was all but imminent, the red light came to a halt, hovering menacingly in front of the helicopter and its startled crew. At that close proximity to the object, Captain Coyne and his team were able to determine that this was no mere light in the sky. Coyne, Healey, and Yanacsek agreed that the object before them was a large, gray-colored, cigar-shaped vehicle, which they described as being somewhat “domed,” and with “a suggestion of windows.” They

could now see that the red light was coming from the bow section of the object. Then without warning, a green “pyramid shaped” shaft of light emanated from the object, passed over the nose of the helicopter, swung up through the windshield, and entered the tinted, upper window panels. Suddenly the interior of the helicopter was bathed in an eerie green light. A handful of seconds later the object shot off toward Lake Erie. But the danger was still not over. To the crew’s concern, the altimeter showed an altitude of 3,500 feet and a climbing ascent of 1,000 feet per minute, even though the stick was still geared for descent. The helicopter reached a height of 3,800 feet before Captain Coyne was able to safely and finally regain control of the helicopter. Shortly thereafter, all radio frequencies returned to normal and Coyne proceeded on to Cleveland Hopkins Airport without further problems. While the UFO skeptic Philip J. Klass opined at the time that the crew had been spooked by nothing more mysterious than a “fireball of the Orinoid meteor shower,” this was never proved, and an in-depth study undertaken by investigator Jennie Zeidman for the Center for UFO Studies summarily ruled out any conventional aircraft as being responsible. Zeidman concisely and accurately concluded: “The case has maintained its high ‘strangeness-credibility’ rating after extended investigation and analysis.” On several occasions in the immediate aftermath of their encounter, Captain Coyne received telephone calls from people identifying themselves as representatives of the Department of the Army, Surgeon General’s Office, asking if he, Coyne, had experienced any “unusual dreams” subsequent to the UFO incident. As it happened, not long before the Army’s call, Coyne had undergone a very vivid out-of-body experience. Sgt. John Healey also reported being called about the incident and its aftermath. “As time would go by,” said Healey, “the Pentagon would call us up and ask us: ‘Well, has this incident happened to you since the occurrence?’ And in two of the instances that I recall, what they questioned me, was, number one: have I ever dreamed of body separation? And I have. I dreamed that I was dead in bed and that my spirit or whatever, was floating, looking down at me lying dead in bed. And the other thing was had I ever dreamed of anything spherical in shape; which definitely had not occurred to me.” That the Army’s Surgeon General’s Office was interested in both out-of-body experiences and the nature of death and the after-life in the early-to-mid 1970s is not in doubt. For example, a September 1975 document titled Soviet and Czechoslovakian Parapsychology Research that had been prepared for the Defense Intelligence Agency by the SGO’s Medical Intelligence and Information Agency contains a section titled Out-of-the-body Phenomena that focuses on the research of Sheila Ostrander and Lynn Schroeder who “reported that the Soviets were studying out-of-the-body phenomena in Yogis.” Ostrander, a Canadian, and Schroeder, an American, were the authors of the classic 1971 book, Psychic Discoveries behind the Iron Curtain. In June 1968, the

pair was invited to attend an international conference on ESP in Moscow. The invite had come from Edward Naumov, a leading figure at the time in Soviet psi research.With the late 1960s seeing the emergence of a more relaxed atmosphere of discussion in such controversial areas of research in the Soviet Union, Ostrander and Schroeder began contacting Soviet scientists and researchers in an effort to understand the scale of investigations being undertaken behind the Iron Curtain. This ultimately led to the publication of their book. Interestingly, the Soviet and Czechoslovakian Parapsychology Research document also displays interest in the issue of unusual, and somewhat unsettling, occurrences reported at the moment of death within the animal kingdom. Referring to the work of Russian scientist Pavel Naumov, the document states: “Naumov conducted animal bio-communication studies between a submerged Soviet Navy submarine and a shore research station: these tests involved a mother rabbit and her newborn litter and occurred around 1956. According to Naumov, Soviet scientists placed the baby rabbits aboard the submarine. They kept the mother rabbit in a laboratory on shore where they implanted electrodes in her brain.” The document continues: “ When the submarine was submerged, assistants killed the rabbits one by one. At each precise moment of death, the mother rabbit’s brain produced detectable and recordable reactions. UFO documentary reveals “humanoid of unknown classification”

By Alejandro Rojas, A new documentary on UFOs, extraterrestrials, and advanced clean energy, hopes to provide evidence that the government has figured out how UFOs operate and are hiding advanced technology that can provide clean energy. The film also features the discovery of an alleged humanoid body whose DNA has been sequenced and found to be of an “unknown classification.” Photos of the being were released today with the announcement of the Hollywood premiere of the film scheduled for later this month. It was also announced that the film is narrated by actor Thomas Jane, who is known to have in interest in UFOs. The new film is titled Sirius, and features the work of Dr. Steven Greer. With a similar goal as the film, Greer brought together a panel of highly credible witnesses who testified in front of representatives from all of the major media outlets at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. in May of 2001. At that time he filmed hours of testimony from hundreds of credible witnesses. His work has been very influential in convincing people that the government knows more than it is sharing, and as he puts it, “Once people understand that classified projects have figured out how UFO’s operate, they will realize we no longer need oil, coal and nuclear power. This is the truth that has driven the secrecy.”

He won his Emmy in 2011 for his short film Jacob’s Turn, on a child with Down Syndrome. UFOs spotted near the International Space Station

Since the beginning of 2013, numerous UFOs have been spotted in space near the International Space Station (ISS), a couple of hundred miles above Earth. Videos have appeared on YouTube showing images taken by NASA cameras of objects of different shapes, some moving very slowly, others rapidly hurtling through space.

YouTube user “Streetcap1” shared two videos in which unidentified silver objects were moving slowly near the curvature of the Earth, and two objects, one circular, the other disc-shape, were outside the ISS on New Year's Day. James Oberg, a former space engineer who specialized in NASA space shuttle operations and is currently the NBC News Space Consultant, doesn't give much credence to any speculation that unidentified flying objects near the ISS originate from an alien civilization. He suggests
that these objects could be “spacecraft-generated ‘dandruff’”. “It shouldn’t be surprising that only half a century later, most folks watching YouTube videos are still totally flummoxed by what they understandably and excusably can’t comprehend,” Oberg said to the Huffington Post. Files released from the National Archives at Kew today reveal that the Ministry of Defence in the UK took the threat of Unidentified Flying Objects very seriously. Under prime minister Tony Blair money and resources were devoted to checking whether any UFO was a reliable sighting. Dr David Clarke is a senior lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University and one of those involved in analysing the records. The Voice of Russia’s Tim Ecott asked Dr Clarke what lay behind the government's interest. Quite few were reports by credible witnesses, you know, pilots, aircrew, police officers that simply defy explanation on what they concluded might relate to very rare atmospheric phenomena – plasmas. And they were interested in this from the military point of view. Because they thought that they could harness these plasmas and use them. They could be useful on the battlefield.What is plasma? You know, like a lightning ball that aluminates sort of phenomena that appear and disappear. Now obviously there’s another serious aspect to this, because the Ministry of Defense were interested – I believe – in investigating some of these sightings because of the awareness that they could have been foreign aircraft, particularly from nations considered not so very friendly to Britain. That’s right, yes, and it’s a very detailed briefing in the files from 1995 by the intelligence officers saying that if these sighting are genuine – there’re serious national security implications. If foreign countries, presumably referring to Russia, China and US were able to set up flying without us knowing – then it’s something that is needed to be investigated. They didn’t rule out the possibility that there could be extra-terrestrials. If some of them are of extra-terrestrial origin then the reason they may be visiting include military reconnaissance, scientific exploration or even tourism. I wonder if this year’s wet summer reduces the number of aliens looking to come to Britain on holiday. I think you’ll probably find that likely. I mean most of the sightings that have been reported in recent years – if you look at them – orange lines, formations in the sky. The obvious explanation for those is release of these Chinese lanterns. For the public it’s quite amusing and interesting to hear some of the descriptions. I see amongst record are faceless humanoids in Wales, man in black in Lincoln chair, as well as these orbs in the sky. The one you mentioned from Wales – this was in the 1970s. Some of your listeners remember the Nude Triangle was popular around that time. And there were particularly lurid tabloid headlines, saying ‘We don’t need the Nude Triangle. We have a Welsh Triangle’. In this particular part of West Wales was a series of sightings there. There were sightings in the sky, people said that it seemed 7-foot-tall alien creatures in silver spacesuits prowling around at night. The MoD was inundated with account of these things. And we’re certainly to look into this. A man discovered that in a local shop window that being a fire-fighting suit on display that was used on a near-by oil refineries and this suit disappeared mysteriously for a few days during the period when people had reported these bizarre encounters. Putting two and two together he concluded that a practical joker had been at work. Something that always intrigues me: in the USA there is quite a wealth of anecdotes from people who claim to have been kidnapped by aliens for various purposes. They don’t seem to bother so much. No, really no. But there’s one counter of alien abduction from these files. From 8/17 Scotland, there were two people returning home late one night in 1994. And they saw the subject appear above their car and drop a curtain of light across the road. And then they lost a period of time, which are all classic symptoms of alien abduction. Where do you stand on this obviously from academic point of view? Do you have a personal view that you care to share on UFOs and aliens? My interest in this is from the point of view of being a folklorist, you know, when you go back in time, people believed in angels and fairies and goblins. And my view on this is that these believes are modern equivalent, like space-age folklore. You know, people have always got to have something to believe in, particularly in times of tension and war.
