NASA astronaut to cast vote from space in US Elections 2020

NASA astronaut Kate Rubins plans to cast her vote for the upcoming US presidential elections 2020 from space as she will be aboard the International Space Station (ISS) on the day of the elections, the Associated Press reported.

According to a CBS News report, the astronaut will be heading to the International Space Station more than 200 miles above the earth's end of October. She will vote in the United States under the Texas Law.

She is currently training in Moscow's Star City under NASA's Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center. This time the astronaut will be in space for six months where she will be accompanied by two more astronauts.

"If we can do it from space, then I believe folks can do it from the ground, too," Rubins said.
