Monday saw the opening in Mumbai of an exhibition dedicated to world famous Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova who was the first woman in space, piloting the Vostok-6 spaceship on June 16, 1963.On display at the exhibition are, among other things, rare photos of Tereshkova posing with a host of prominent politicians, including Fidel Castro, Nikita Khrushchev and Vladimir Putin.
